Oh, gosh. I hope this makes sense! Color can be a 6 week course, there are so many things to say about it.
But, here I simply explain how I choose which colors to go with my main color, and how I decide to place color in my art.
I am no expert by any means... all self-taught, for the most part, other than paying attention to my art teacher in grade school.
So if you are in college and taking art classes, you might consider not viewing this at all. I'm positive your instructor will teach you what I've heard is "color theory" and such.
This is for those of you who've asked how I decide colors.
Edit: This has been moved to scraps where it belongs. Maybe the garbage truck will pick it up next week.
Thank you very much! How is it possible that your tutorials are so simple and easy to understand (and to use later on) while so many others are simply incomprehensible? Those people who write sth like "then add some lights and shadows" and similar "helpful" advice without explaining HOW exactly to do that could learn from you - a lot! Thank you once again - this was simple, easy and extremely helpful.
Great tutorial, easy to understand and very good advices! its amazing that youve learned so much on your own, proves that you dont have to go to artschool to be a great artist
